    Installing Windows 10

    I have an X570 motherboard with a 3950X, a Gtx 1660 GPU and a m.2 drive. PSU is 750w

While installing win 10 pro, everything goes fine until I connect to the internet.

After doing some updates the screen goes blank and the PC is unresponsive. At first I thought it was an issue with the Graphics driver but I managed a safe mode boot and the drivers seem to be installed.

I have tried clearing the CMOS, flashing several different bios versions, different Ram, different m.2 drive.

The temps are fine Arctic freezer II 280. The Graphic card works on an X470 motherboard.

I have a retail version of Windows 10 Pro so first tried that. Dated 2015 so had to wait for a long time for updates to get to build 1904 and then when it starts to update again that's when it goes blank, that's why I thought it was the Graphics drivers.

Downloaded a windows installation disk and started again but same problem I just got there quicker.

The GPU and the installation work on the X470 Ryzen 7 2700X platform but obviously that doesn't solve my problem.

Getting tired of swapping components and installing windows. can anyone offer suggestions

    :)

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
