  1. Installing Windows 11 Home on new NVME.

I have a Sky Tech Nebula gaming pc with an ASRock B550M-C mother board. It came with Windows 11 home when I purchased the PC. I am trying to get the file to a USB so I can install it on my new 2 TB WD Black SN850 X NVME. My pc does support this ssd. When I fired up my pc after replacing the old NVME, it took me to the boot screen and then when I got to internet set up it would only allow me to use an ethernet cable which I do not have access to in my gaming room Ironic, I know. Also my resolution is WAY off and everything is "zoomed" in. I am not familiar with BIOS or anything like that. Als

    :)

  3. Windows 11 install process not recognizing NVMe drive

    Dear Support team,

I have installed a new computer with a Samsung 980PRO Nvme drive. The drive is recognized in the UEFI bios.

When I launch the Window11 installer there is no driver available to continue installation. In the Command Line

window I have set the Nvme drive with diskpart to MBR. But still the drive is not shown to the Windows installation

    program.

I looked to find drivers, took those of the Intel website for Nvme/Windows 11, but they are not compatible,

the Windows 11 does not accept them. I couldn't find anything about Drivers for Samsung Nvmes on the

    Samsung website.

Do you have any suggestions what I can do to get this working?

    Thank you very much

    Kind regards

    Harald

  4. Installing Windows 11 Home on new NVME.

Attempts to install Win11 resulted in an NVME being Write-Protected. How do I clear Write-Protection?

I am in the same situation. I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 Home and added a 2 TB NVMe SSD to it. I upgraded to Win 11 Pro. Everything worked fine with the drive at that point; however, I had to perform a reset to reinstall the OS for other reasons. When the reinstall was finished, the NVMe was write protected. I took all of the same steps listed in this thread with the same results - the drive remains write protected.
