Discus and support Installing windows on a tablet. Need tips for it in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I have hp elitepad 1000 g2.     Installing windows on a tablet. Need tips for it


    I have hp elitepad 1000 g2. The issue with it I can't start windows install because of touchscreen. My question would be possible to install windows 10? One solution would be to buy docking station but it alone cost 173€ which is more then tablet itself. I looked over for unattended install but couldn't make it work. Could anyone help with it?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    windows 7 tablet edition?

    There is no "tablet" edition of windows 7 (all versions of windows 7 except possibly basic have the same functionality when it comes to tablets)- if it detects you have a tablet pc it changes a few settings (icon sizes) and installs a couple of extra applications which can be used with wacom/touchscreen style setups.

    You can install windows 7 from USB with no problems, but I am not familiar enough with the steps required to do it.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
