Windows 10: Installing wsl and rebooting makes my laptop go into a bsod loop

For something in my education I have to install wsl in order to use linux on my windows system. I tried to install it in PowerShell using following command:wsl --installSo far so good, no error message and powershell tells me to reboot the sytem.But when I reboot the system I get a blue screen of death and the pc keeps rebooting into the same bsod until I can get back into the sytem by starting in safe mode. However after that wsl isn't installed. The blue screen of death code is SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, saying AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys failed.I would appreciate if I could get help

• Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
• What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

Stuck in Reboot loop after power cut

We understand your concern and appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system
