Windows 10: Installing x32 bit App on x64 bit Windows

I'm not a tech guru so please forgive my stupidity. I am operating in 64 bit but need to be in 32 bit. How do I switch it?

Media Creation Tool - Install incorrect WIN10 version x32 bit instead of x64 bit

Using media creation tool from
Download Windows 10

I installed x64 bit version onto USB for clean install onto brand new harddrive.

After install and activation (using a new key) I discovered the version on the USB was x32 it instead of what I had selected x64 bit.

Now I need to do a complete reinstall! Still not sure if the version downloaded onto the USB will be correct version.

Any ideas on how I fix this or identify which version is actually on the USB?

Media creation tool gives you the option to download both x32 and x64 versions although this is 6GB.

So be warned, if you select x64 bit version, you may actually get the 32 bit version.

 

Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 10 64-bit, Is it Possible?

They say that you first have to install Windows 10 x32 for you to be able to install the x64 version, is this false? So, that means I can run the Win10 x64 setup directly on my x32 Win7 laptop?

The 64-bit drivers and software's are only compatible with 64-bit Windows OS you cannot use 64-bit drivers and software's with 32-bit version of Windows OS .
