Windows 10: Insuffcient memory and not enough memory

    Insuffcient memory and not enough memory


    Running Windows 10 on both my desktop and laptop. On my desktop I got and error "not enough memory" while editing in Canon Digital Photo Professional. On my laptop I got the error "insufficient memory" while running Adobe Lightroom Classic. Is this Microsoft update related? I ran disk cleanup, disk defrag, deleted temporary internet files, cleared out more space on my hard drive even though it already had enough space and reinstalled Digital Photo Professional but it didn't help. Both my laptop and desktop are having problems. The memory diagnostic tool didn't find anything wrong. Is this update related? Help!

    Memory issues

    Thank you for updating us. We suggest that you run the Memory Diagnostics Tool, this is to check your system for memory problems. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Control Panel and type memory in the search bar.
    • Click on Diagnose computer memory problems to open it.
    • If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    Let us know the status of the issue.

    Memory Issue.

    Go to motherboard manufacturer site, go to Support section, download memory compatibility list. Check your memory.

    If you'll find it in list go to step two: at memory manufacturer site download memory manual.

    Compare memory settings in manual and in BIOS.

    HP stream wont update windows 10 , not enough memory

    To further assist you, we suggest that you run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Refer to the steps provided below:

    • On the Start screen, type memory.
    • Click Settings and then click the result Diagnose your computer's memory problems.
    • Select the option to run the tool.

    We also suggest you to temporarily disable the antivirus as it consumes more memory and then try to upgrade.

    Let us know how it goes.
