Windows 10: Insufficient Disk Space Error - Plenty of Disk Space

I have two Samsung solid state drives both 1 TB as my drive D: which is where I store all of my video data. Windows is installed on Drive C:. I recently received an error when moving data between my phone to drive D: and received an insufficient disk space error despite having 1 TB free on the drive. It looks like I have used just about half of the space between the two drives and Windows 11 is refusing to utilize the other drive? I booted up Steam and tried to install a new game and it gave me the same error. How can I get Windows 11 to utilize all of my data properly? Screen shot attached

Windows Update “insufficient disk space” even after disk clean up.

I have a tablet pc loaded with Windows 10 version 1511.



I cannot use Windows Update to change to latest version because it responds “insufficient disk space”, even though I have done everything possible to clear the “C” drive of unnecessary files etc.



I understand that in the past when the “insufficient disk space” message was received the user was then invited to specify a different drive as supplementary disk space.
This invitation does not appear now.



Is there any way I can use a usb flash drive to temporarily provide more disk space for the update process?

Low Disk Space error

Hi,

I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
Uninstall option from the Start menu.

If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

To do so, please follow the below steps.

• Right Click on Start Menu.
• Open Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Click Programs and Features.
  
• Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
