Windows 10: Insufficient RAM for Win 10

I have a Lenovo ideapad S130-11IGM laptop which was only provided with a 32GB SSD. This is, according to some advisers, too small to run Windows 10. The supplier refused to accept return of the device. I also have a 32GB micro SD installed. But i cannot run any apps, becasue when Windows tries to update the OS it faiols owing to lack of space. Is there any way to use the SD micro as part of the OS/App system to release sufficien memory to keep Win10 happy?I only wish to run browser, doc and spreadsheet apps as well as an antivirus, although the installed Win security product is probably adequa

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin

 

16GB RAM only 8GB usable on Windows 10 x64

have 16GB of RAM installed on my computer, but only 8GB is usable. I am running Windows 10 x64. I have tried the following steps to fix this issue, but they have not worked:

1. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.
   
2. I have tried reseating the RAM modules.
   
3. I have tried using different RAM modules.
   
4. I have tried run-MSConfig
   

I am still not able to use all 16GB of RAM. Any suggestions?
