Windows 10: Integrated Camera <MediaCaptureFailedEvent>

I am facing an issue while using my laptop's camera. I have recently bought a new laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad S540. Initially the camera was working perfect. Then the issue started with the below message.

Error Code:

0xA00F4271<MediaCaptireFailedEvent>0x8007001F


Apart from this error, sometimes it goes black while I am on a video call. Also, my video call apps zoom and skype suddenly stops detecting the camera.


I have tried various options such as updating and rolling back drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, creating EnableFrameServerMode registry file, reseting camera and privacy settings etc. After doing some of these procedures, the camera starts working normally. But it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work. I have attended 3 hours meeting two days back with camera on, but after restarting system next day it again stopped working. I am facing this issue from 20 to 25 days.

Success in resetting Store; that produced a download of the Windows camera, despite seeing error message again, download proceeded. Screen shows MS app for Windows camera and indicates downloaded. (Camera now listed in app list.) But when Launch was selected,
no action after screen with camera icon. Eventually message appeared " something went wrong: here is message code if needed: 0x400F4271>MediaCaptureFailedEvent>0xC00D3704. We seem to be moving ahead a step at a time. Next suggestion?

 

Camera Not Working: 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent>(0x80070001)

I looked at the Lenovo Community forum and learned that a common problem is the camera comes unplugged, step 5 in the list above (labeled step 3) is the solution and the Lenovo community helped with how to get it plugged back in. Press on the screen and
the outside shell around the camera area to create a better connection.

The camera is working again, thanks to both of you for your attempts to help.

 

Error: 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070018) when trying to access built-in Camera

I'm using an Acer predator laptop 2018. After updating to the latest windows my camera stopped working and is showing error code: 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070018)

I've had this problem for around a year now

Model No. : PH315-51-510T

Built Version of Windows: Version 1909 (OS Built 18363.720)

No changes have been made to my laptop



I've also run the troubleshoot that was suggested by an article on Microsoft help page
