Windows 10: Integrated Camera Not Working - Camera Locked Issue

I've tried various troubleshooting steps, but the issue remains unresolved. Here's a summary of what I've done so far: The F8 key, which is supposed to toggle the camera on and off, doesn't seem to be functioning. My integrated webcam for my Lenovo laptop is not working now. Was working last month. I have gone through all troubleshooting and uninstalled and reinstalled driver. Still no help. Anyone having this issue or have a suggestion? No external switch to turn on and off camera and camera light turns on but nothing.

I understand that you have issue with your integrated laptop camera in greyscale. Might I suggest that you check this link, it is having a different issue with yours but the procedure to fix is just the same. I suggest you follow the steps listed.

Also if this is the first time that you are using the webcam, can you check maybe there is a sticker/plastic in front of the camera.

internal camera not working integrated camera not in device manager

My internal camera is no longer working on my ASUS F550 with Windows 10 64 bit

In my device manager in the imaging tab the integrated camera is not listed; only my MX920 canon printer is listed

Does that mean a driver is missing or a card is missing.
