Windows 10: Integrated Camera Only Displays in Black & White – No Driver or Software Issues

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing an issue with my integrated camera, where it only displays in black and white, regardless of the application used. The system is fully updated, and I’ve ruled out potential causes, but the issue persists.What I’ve checked so farisplay & Colour Settings → The rest of the system displays correctly in colour, so it’s not a contrast/filter issue.Drivers → I checked in Device Manager, ensured the camera driver is up to date, and even reinstalled it—no change.Lenovo Software → Installed the Lenovo diagnostic tool, which detects no issues with the camera.Different A

Integrated Camera does not display color

My integrated camera on my Thinkpad P53 displays in black & white only, no color.

This is the first time I have used the camera. I have the current hardware driver. Windows 10 updates are current.

What am I missing? I have not seen a black & white camera on a laptop for 30 years!

Any suggestions?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to go to device manager and disable the display drivers, check whether the issue persists or not.

• Press Windows + X keys and click
  Device manager.
• Click to expand Display adapters, right click the second adapter and click
  Disable.
• Restart the computer and check whether the issue persists or not.
• Repeat the same steps to disable the first display adapter and check if it helps.

If you find the issue is with anyone of the display adapters then, I suggest you to update the display drivers from the manufactures website for Windows 10 and check if it helps.
