Windows 10: Integrated Microphone on HP-ef3xxx laptop is nonexistent.

The integrated microphone on my HP-ef3xxx laptop has suddenly dissapeared after some driver issues I thought I resolved - and I can't seem to find the right drivers to fix with. Does anyone have the right drivers, or a seperate solution?

Type C microphone on my HP Laptop

“When i plug the Mic with USB Type C converter some drivers are installed which is totally different when I directly connect it to Type C port on my laptop.

The drivers that are being chosen while using the Type C converter is the same drivers that are being used with the other 4 PCs.”

The two paragraphs you shared show that a different driver was introduced through the USB Type C converter when connecting the microphone, and a different driver was used when connecting directly to the Type C port on the laptop. This could be the crux of the problem, as incorrect drivers or driver conflicts could cause the microphone to not work properly. One way to resolve this issue may be to ensure that the microphone connected to your computer is using the correct driver. It may be necessary to locate and install the correct driver for the USB Type C connection or the driver associated with the Boya microphone. You can search based on the drivers installed on the other 4 computers and then try to see if you can install the missing drivers directly on your HP laptop to fix this issue. Alternatively, you can share screenshots of the relevant drivers and I can try to see if I can search for them for you.

Integrated Microphone does not work

I installed a web video program called VSee and for some reason the built in webcam is working but my integrated microphone is not. I have tried all the troubleshooting found on the message boards but it is still not working. It says the device is enabled
and working properly. I have windows 10 installed and my laptop is a HP Pavilion dv7. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
