Windows 10: Intel 82579lm unable to start code 10

HelloI have a problem with my Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1. I upgraded my mobile connection card from 3G to 4G and after working fine for an hour, my network adapter stopped working. It says unable to start code 10. I have tried everything from drivers to fresh windows install but nothing seems to work. My wlan and mobile connection work just fine but I need my ethernet connection and it doesn't work right now. I think this is a software issue because everything worked fine for a moment and then stopped, maybe windows installed something that bricked it?I ran program called Minitoolbox since I f

Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection (code 10) driver issue

I've recently installed Windows 10 fresh onto a p8z68-v gen 3, everything went well except when I tried to connect to my broadband with an ethanet cable nothing was happening, so I checked device manager and it seems Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection
drivers are getting code 10 any suggestions?

 

[SOLVED] Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit connecting at only 100 Mb/s in Windows 10 64 bits

Hi there!

My PC have a Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit that worked above 100 Mbps just fine with a previous modem. My ISP upgraded the modem and the 82579LM would work only at 100 Mbps. I tried using different Ethernet ports and other cables, but without any luck.

I've found several posts on many forum with people having the same issue, but without any solution. Since I've found one, here it is:

• Open Device Manager (right-click the Start button)
  
• Expand "Network adapters"
  
• Double-click "Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection"
  
• In the "Power Management" tab, disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
  
• In the "Advanced" tab, select the "Speed & Duplex" property and change from "Auto Negotiation" to "1.0 Gbps Full Duplex".
  

Of course, be sure to have updated drivers and check your cables and cable connections as well.

How can I set my computer up to load the Intel 82579V Gigabit Network Connection Driver instead of the Intel 82579LM?

Computer Specs:

Home Premium 64-Bit

Intel Pentium Processor G630

Intel HD Graphics

4GB DDR3 Memory

Several months ago I updated my PC from Windows 7 to Windows 10. When I had done that and connected my computer to the internet, it was unable to fully connect until I restarted my computer. Eventually I found that every time my computer would restart
for the first time, it would load the 82579LM driver instead of the 82579V driver. I tried uninstalling the 82579LM through the Device Manager and it was successful in updating to the 82579V when using "Scan for Hardware Changes" option in the Device Manager.

However, this was only a temporary fix as it would instantly go back to 82579LM upon a restart. Not every restart would trigger it, but most would. Eventually I did find a way to fix this problem and I hadn't had a problem with it for quite some time.

Unfortunately, Windows 10 forced my computer to update just recently, and ever since then, I can't seem to figure out how to fix the problem.

Every time I uninstall the 82579LM Driver through the device manager, it is reinstalled upon restart again, and I can't find a solution to keep this from happening.

Would anyone happen to know the solution?

Just a note: I can only use the internet through the 82579V, not the 82579LM. So if I could eliminate the LM all together, that'd be nice.
