Windows 10: intel extreme tuning utility can't be installed-WIN10

Good Day All


simply what is happening is the application [ intel extreme tuning utility ] not able to install itself in the system,


when you start the installer, it will show you that it's loading and making the installation normal, and fine,

after it finished the process, you'll not find the application in working condition, what you'll find is the following,

* setup file in the directory C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{7afa48c7-9901-40fa-8f9b-f0707e2bc5b6}

* installation package for vcredist_x86 in the directory C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\96B377A27AC5445328CBAAE210FC4F0AAA750D3F



fix and work around solution's I tried,

1- clean boot (no effect).

2- clean and total uninstall for the application and its data in all system including registry & and re-try to install the app again (no effect).

3- tried the last three version's from Intel download center and MSI "my board manufacturer" (no effect)

4- tried the compatibility solution with all the option's there (no effect)

5- checked system update, windows are up to date and (no effect)

6- virus scanning, (no effect)


it was working fine before but when Intel updated the app I wanted to update mine, so I removed the old version, and here we started,

intel extreme tuning utility doesnt install.

so im trying to install intel extreme tuning utilty on my dell 5250u laptop. Sadly i get a message "0x80004005 unspecified error" Any insight on the probable reasons? im running windows 10 btw.
