Windows 10: intel graphics kernel mode driver not working And my Brightness stuck at maximum

I had device manager - display adapter -intel graphics family and the driver show " a security setting is blocking the driver[ code 48]" i have update, trouble shoot, downloaded other drivers still not working.

THIS WAS STARTED AFTER I UPDATE THE WINDOWS ...........help

Windows Update graphics driver download stuck at 1%

Good morning all. I have two graphics cards in my ASUS S551LN laptop, an NVIDIA GeForce 840 M and an Intel HD Graphics Family. When I upgraded to Windows 10, I lost my graphics drivers (the only graphics driver in Device Manager was the basic one from Microsoft).
I also lost my brightness control (the hotkeys don't work) so it's stuck at max brightness. Also there was no more "Sleep" option at Start > Power.

So I regularly check Windows Update for any drivers on its download list, and the drivers are there, but they just won't download (stuck at 1%). Is it just my internet connection or is Windows Update having a really hard time downloading my drivers?

(I'm not a super-geek, by the way.)

 

After a Windows 10 upgrade brightness control won't work

After an automatic upgrade on Windows 10, brightness control won't work. Brightness is stuck to maximum. My laptop is an ACER Aspire 5742, with Intel HD Graphics. I have already tried to change display driver on Device manager to Microsoft and still it's
too bright. Have already tried to uninstall it but after restart Intel Graphics is automatically reinstalled. Brightness controls (Fn key) aren't working. Need help before my I get blind.

Some programs and/or drivers might not work as expected in Windows 10 as some manufacturers are still in the process of manufacturing the new definitions of the drivers.

In this case, you can download an older version of the driver and install it in compatibility mode with a compatible version of Windows.

For example, you can download Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator version compatible to Windows 7 and install in compatibility mode in Windows 10. Refer to the following steps:

Step 1: Download and save the driver on the desktop from the following link.

Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* 7(exe)

Step 2: Install the driver in compatibility mode.

• Right click on the driver, and click on Properties.
• Go to the Compatibility tab.
• Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for:
• Select Windows 7 in the list of Operating systems.
• Click OK.
• Double-click the driver file to install the driver and follow the onscreen instructions.
• Reboot your computer.
