Windows 10: Intel HD graphics on windows 10 don't show image by hdmi-dvi conection

Hi, I have an LG 1900e-BF monitor with DVI-D conector.I bought an converter hdmi-toDVI-D to use this monitor with my laptop.But, when i connect monitor, windows found him, but did not show images. I tried clone images, first monitor, extended monitor etc. You see that windows think that have a extended desktop, but without image.If i put this monitor with adapter same config on a newer laptop, with radeon, windows recognize and show images on this monitor.I think this is an HDCP issue, because this monitor is from 2007, and i think that laptop try to star handshaking with monitor but without

HDMI and DVI

Not that the eye can tell both are the same quality and resolution , some differences are HDMI can also carry audio DVI can not and DVI cables don’t all support HDCP copy protection as a standard. This is a system that prevents HD content such as BluRay videos from being played on unauthorised devices.

HDCP stands for High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection, a copy protection scheme to eliminate the possibility of intercepting digital data midstream between the source to the display.

 

Intel HD Graphics Driver

If your Intel Graphics card is one of the following :

try this, it works for many people:


1.- Download from this site the beta zip file (win64_154012.zip), and not the exe file:

(for 32-bit download win32_154012.zip).

2.- Unzip the driver to C:\Windows\Temp folder.

3.- Right click on Start and choose Device Manager, Display adapters,
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family.

4.- Double click to open it (or right click and choose Properties).

5.- Click on the Driver tab and then on Update Driver.

6.- On the new tab click on Browse my computer for driver software.

7.- On the new tab click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

8.- On the new tab click on Have Disk.

9.- Click on Browse and then choose Windows\Temp\win64_154012\Graphics\igdlh64.inf
(igdlh32.inf for 32-bit) and click on Open and then
OK.

10..- On the new tab where Intel (R) HD Graphics Family is showing click on
Next and let the driver to install.

11.- The new Driver Version is 20.19.15.4326 and is digitally signed.

Be aware to follow step by step all the procedure and do not try to use the wizard to update the driver directly, in many cases it won’t work.

 

Windows 10 ,HDMI issue

I am facing a an issue, I bought a used lcd hp e240 elite display , when I connect my cpu and lcd via HDMI cable, boot screen comes up , after windows loading screen, the monitor doesn't show any display even when I manually select hdmi as input on monitor,
(no signal), then I have to connect through vga cable , then in intel HD graphics control panel , I have to goto the multiple display tab and press the detect button, afterwards it I have to switch input source to hdmi via monitor settings , then my monitor
is on hdmi.

this is all because of the monitor not having the dvi port that my cpu has , currently I dont have any graphics card.

monitor has VGA/HDMI/DISPLAY PORT and my cpu has VGA/DVI/HDMI, my hdmi cable is also rusty.

what can be the issue ? I have updated the graphics driver already? is this monitor's fault or windows 10 bug ??

my cpu is intel core i5 3450.
