Windows 10: Intel High Defintion DSP unable to install. I assume affecting my audio devices?

For a couple days, I've been unable to connect my headphones to my Asus Labtop Gaming F15. It says no output / input device found, and no mater what I do, it just seems like it cant pair to them. When I go into my device manager I see that the intel high defintion dsp is flagged yeelow but when i try to instal it says i dont have the drivers. I assume the two are related. Any help?

Hi Folks I did my windows updates (windows 11) and since then, I have been getting the error Intel High Definition DSP - No Audio Device installed.

Checked in the Device Manager

Under other devices is says Intel High Definition DSP (There is a Little Yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it)

doubled clicked on it and it states:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)



There are no compatible drivers for this device.



To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

Tried to search for the Driver but it returned the following message: Windows was unable to install your Intel High Definition DSP

Ok, so I uninstall drivers, and reboot was performed as you say. Sos now back to the previous steps and isntall a file you sugest here, yes?

"Do the following go to device manager > Intel High Definition DSP > Update Devices > Browse my Computer for Drivers > Let me choose from a list of drivers available on my computer > Show all devices > Have disk > Browse > C:\ Drivers\Audio\20241806.21412957\SST3950\Production > IntcSST.inf See if the recognized driver appears."

 

Intel High Definition DSP - No Audio Device installed after updating drivers.

Hi,

Norton driver updater installed new drivers for me. After that, the sound disappeared. I tried to restore the previous driver, but to no avail. Intel High Definition DSP is unrecognizable. I tried ways from Redirecting , but unfortunately without success.

Instead, I noticed that the installed Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel® SST) is missing.

Please help me to solve the issue.
