Windows 10: Intel i225-v Ethernet Controller just doesn't work properly

I've had a MAJOR issue with my Ethernet Adaptor for the past 2 weeks and I've tried just about EVERY method I know and could find online to try and fix but to no avail, the issue is that the Ethernet Adaptor works perfectly fine in normal use but as soon as I launch a game such as BF2042 or For Honor my Ethernet completely stops working and the only way to fix it is by restarting my PC as trying to do anything with it in Device Manager either crashes the system or gives an infinite loading status.The issue seems to come from Windows refusing to configure my adapter properly because I noticed i

WOL doesn't work on Intel I225-V when connected to 2.5gbe

I have an Intel I225-V controller on an Asus Z690-Plus Motherboard and Wake On Lan simply will not work if I connect to my router's 2.5gbe ethernet port. If I connect to one of the 1gbe ports, then Wake On Lan will work just fine.

Anyone have this experience or a fix for it?

All the settings on the card and the bios are fine all I have to do is move the ethernet cable between the 2.5gbe port and the 1gbe port on the router to make it work (or fail). The configuration on my adapter doesn't change so there doesn't seem to be anything that I can do at the configuration level

<this may not be a hardware related but an OS related issue because Windows perceived that there was a disconnection and generated an error however the disconnection was never encountered. Since no disconnection occurred, we still suggest to contact Microsoft.

About your follow up questions, possible that this is only false positive because having these errors will cause intermittent or permanent disconnection which you never encountered. It is still best to contact Microsoft so they can provide further recommendations.>

Intel(R) PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility 26.6.09:

2.Cable Quality Status: Failed => I tried changing the network cable, but actually changing the other one didn't solve it!

Then please can you really give a solution that can actually be solved, without losing or closing the functions that should be there, and under the premise of not reducing performance and stability!

And the above is not a case, there are other consumers like me, the interesting thing is that the Cable Integrity Status item also shows 225 meters！

Note:
The shared router is ASUS RT-AC58U, Chunghwa Telecom's FTTH, and the cables are CAT5E & CAT6!
