  1. Intel i5 13600k and Intelppm.sys BSODs when Start value = 3 in registry

I have spent the better part of the last two days trying to solve this issue - not sure where it started but my girlfriend's PC specs:MSI z690-A pro MOBOi5-13600k 3.49ghz32GB DDR5 Kingston Fury RamRTX 4060 TiWindows 11 HomeWhen this whole mess started it was running windows 10 - at that point the BSODs were different every time and I elected to clean install Windows 11. I have since updated all drivers that I could possibly find, flashed the BIOS to the latest version, deleted intelppm.sys and restored it with an sfc scan. I have ran a memtest86 up to 23 passes overnight with 0 errors. In

  2. BSOD watching videos on YouTube

Hi, thank you for patiently waiting, as per checking and analyzing the DMP files there is an error intelppm.sys, this is the Intel Processor Power Management which is used to check the performance and cooling of the processor, and for us to sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

    Change IntelPPM Registry value:

Press the Windows key + R then type in:

    Regedit

    Then hit OK

    Navigate: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Intelppm

Double-click on "Start" and change the Value data to 4

Click OK, Close the registry, and restart the PC.

If the issue persists, you may also follow the steps from this link:

  3. Surface pro 3 Intel video driver BSOD (igdkmd64.sys)

Getting frequent BSOD on the intel display driver (igdkmd64.sys) on my Surface pro 3, i5, 8GB.

This started with windows 10. Last week performed a full factory reset, yet the problem still persists.

I typically get the BSOD when I'm not using the surface (having lunch, sleeping, ...). It has happened in the docking station, or just sitting in my backpack.

I tried different version of the intel driver, but all seem to have this issue (15.4331, 15.4300, 15.4404).

Did anyone find a version that actually works?

The windows update was pushing version 15.4331.
