Windows 10: Intel LAN Controller causes bluescreen and reboot.

Hi,


I have an ASUS Sabertooth Mark 1 motherboard and am running Windows 10 pro.

All of a sudden one day I started getting frequent blue screens. First thing I did was try and uninstall the latest update but computer kept failing trying to do it, restore the same. I updated my bios well was already using the latest version, then had no choice but reinstall windows. I did the reinstall but my computer bluescreens before Windows logs me in, the same with safe mode with Networking, but not networking disabled. So I pulled my lan and windows booted fine.

After that I went into the bios and first disabled Realtek and bluescreens, so tried Intel's lan controller and windows runs fine, but no internet.

Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Please remember I can not download anything since the internet will just crash my P.C.

KB3163018 causes bluescreen in DirectX DXGMMS1.sys when I maximize video

Still have the same problem.

My setup:

• Lenovo W530
• Windows 10 64bit
• Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
• NVIDIA Quadro K2000M

Just installed the anniversary update, updated my BIOS, intel graphics card driver and SSD firmware. Fullscreen applications like YouTube still cause a bluescreen.

Any suggestions Microsoft?

 

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

 

Killer LAN drivers AND Intel LAN drivers?


I am installing new drivers after an upgrade to windows 10 from windows 8.1 and I have 2 separate issues.

The page I am using for drivers is here:
MSI Global

And I am following the suggested order.

1) When I began setup for the Intel VGA driver I received an error message saying that "This computer does not meet the requirements."

- I skipped it and continued down the list of drivers but I am concerned since the second monitor I want to use is still not working.
- The Nvidia VGA driver installed correctly.

Is this a normal error and I should accept it as I do not need that driver or should I find another Intel VGA driver to try?

2) I have installed the Killer LAN and Killer Wireless LAN drivers for my laptop. Do I now need to ALSO install the Intel Wireless LAN drivers or no? Is it optional or required or don't do it at all?
