    Intel-net 18.33.6.2 out dated network driver??


    windows auto update is trying to download and install the above item on my device..my current windows version is up to date windows 10 home 22h2. OS build 19045.2965 with most current network adaptors Intel R Dual Band Wireless-AC3160.. ver 18.33.6.2, drvr date 2017/02/19. my device cpu Intel R Celeron R CPU N3050 @ 1.6GHz. ver 10.0.19041.2728 drvr date 2009/04/21..when widows auto update tries to install Intel-net 18.33.6.2, it crashed the internet connection and removes all the SSD information for the wifi network adaptor.. to get wifi back up and running I have uninstalled the AC3160

    I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1: I suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

    • Type in search bar as control panel.
    • Then select troubleshooting.
    • Click on hardware and sound option.
    • Then click on “hardware and devices “and follow the on screen instructions.
    Method 2: I suggest you to uninstall the network drivers as below steps.

    • Press Windows+X and select “Device manager”.
    • Then expand the Network adapters.
    • Right click on the driver and uninstall it.
    And then go to the manufacturers website download the network drivers, install it and check if the issue persists.
