Windows 10: Intel R Dual Band Wireles- AC8265

Hi,A person fiddled around with our pc and I've not been able to get my wireless working since. Under Network & Internet, no option for wifi comes up. I can't plug a phone/ipad in via a usb port and use the internet either. I have conducted all windows updates, updated all the drivers, tried all the scan for hardware changes, tried uninstalling the device then i couldn't get it back reinstalled the device through legacy, I've googled everything and am just stumped. I think my system registry/log has been changed and it has the usb and wireless devices disabled in the background.The Proce

I understand that the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 device appears in the device manager with error code 45;

Initially I recommend that you check for updates on Windows Update;

Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

Go to Device Manager and uninstall Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165;

After uninstalling restart the PC;

Go to the link below and download and install the first driver from the list for the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 device:

Check that the device now works normally;

Error code 45 with Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

Original Title: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

My Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 has a problem which is code 45 and I need help fixing this. I'm not sure what I should do and I do not understand when it's says "reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

Also when I go to my device manager and expand Network Adapters I only see 3 points/devices and when I go to view, and click "show hidden devices" that's when I see all the other devices including my Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

 

Wifi constantly dropping out - Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 network adapter

Purchased a new HP Envy laptop 2 years ago. It came with Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 network adapter. From day one the wireless dropped out on numerous routers. The machine has been replaced twice by Computer World but I've had the same problem
with each machine. Any suggestions?
