Windows 10: Intel x99 usb host controller error in device manager wont go away!

Hi, Need help trying to solve this error im getting in Device Manager,


It says error code 10 device cannot start for my Intel C610 series/x99 chipset USB Enchanced Host Controller #1. I redownloaded the chipset from the MSI website and it will go back to normal but when I restart my computer it goes right back to showing the yellow exclmation mark.


How do I fix this so it doesnt do this???

USB Enhanced Host Controller Update Error 0x800f0219

I also have the same problem. Reinstalled the win 10 without deleting my personal files and now I cannot use any of the USBs. The windows updater lists these error msgs:

" INTEL driver update for Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C2D - Error: 0x800f0219" and

"INTEL driver update for Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C26 - Error: 0x800f0219"

I tried to download an updater from Intel's website but the updates did not fix the problem. I cannot follow your steps though, because in the device manager there is no "Universal Serial Bus controllers" tab.

Any idea how to fix this? It is really annoying that I am not able to use my USB.

Uninstall and reinstall the Universal Serial Bus controllers driver and check, if it works. Refer to the following steps to uninstall the Universal Serial Bus controllers driver from the Device Manager.

a. Click on Windows key + X key and then, select
Device Manager.

b. Locate and expand “Universal Serial Bus controllers” in the Device Manager Window.

c. Right-click on the “Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller” and click on “uninstall" to uninstall "Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Series
Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller".

d. Restart the computer and check, if it works.
