Windows 10: Intellitype

Can the macros I created for one keyboard be exported/imported for a different keyboard?

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

No, it will not make any difference.

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft keyboard 400 and Intellitype pro and check if it helps

Method 2: Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Is Intellitype compatible with Windows 10?

Thanks, Intellitype installed fine on my Surface Pro 3, but it does not recognize the Surface Type Cover Keyboard. Any suggestions? Why doesn't MS have a product that works with THEIR OWN HARDWARE?!

The software for IntelliType Pro 6.2 Keyboard is not available in Microsoft store for Windows 10. So, I recommend you to download the higher version.

I suggest you to refer the below link to download the software and install it in compatibility mode.

To install the software in compatibility mode you can refer to the below steps.

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows operating system
  from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
