    IntelMEProv is crashing my PC.


    Since the last Windows update my computer is crashing randomly. Sometimes it won't even boot, restarting on its own again and again. Sometimes the screen goes white, green or a glitchy corrupted screen, while I can still hear the program I am running at the time. I opened event logs and noticed that every time my PC crashes, this IntelMEProv warning comes up at the exact same time. I have checked this multiple times so I am a 100% sure that this is the exact reason my PC is crashing.Now I have searched through the internet and found out that this is quite a big problem but I can't find a fix a

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    IntelMEProv is crashing my PC.

    PC Crashing on every game IntelMEProv is crashing my PC. :(

    OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

    Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin IntelMEProv is crashing my PC. :D
