Windows 10: IntelR UHD Graphics 600 keeps rolling back to older version

I recently downloaded IntelR UHD Graphics 600 Version 31.0.101.2127 from ther website and when I check the windows update it started downloading the older Version 30.0.101.1191. and told me to retart computer to finish... I redownloaded the newer Version from my device manger from the Let me pick from a list available drivers on my computer option and everything was fine until a week or so later and it downloaded the older Version again when checking windows updates.Does the new version not work with my computer or can I stop the old one from downloading again?

INTEL UHD GRAPHICS KEEPS REVERTING BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION

I recently noticed that my Intel UHD graphic driver keeps installing the previous version through Windows Update after I updated it to the latest version. I updated my Intel UHD graphic through a couple of methods. The first one by downloading the Intel Driver and Support Assistant and update the driver through Intel website. The second one through a ZIP file. The first time I noticed this issue was a week ago. I uninstalled the Intel UHD Graphic in Device Manager and restarted my laptop, and it reinstalled the driver. Then I updated it to the latest version but then a couple of days later, it reinstalled the previous version through Windows Update on its own. Now, I paused the auto update in the setting and not sure how to stop if from going back to the previous version without pausing the Windows Update.

Anyone knows why this is happening? I am using Acer Predator Helios 300 running RTX3060 with intel i5-10th gen.

Any help is much appreciated.

Can you try to install an older version of the Intel UHD graphic 630 driver?

Also, check for the latest Windows and BIOS updates.
