Windows 10: IntelR wireless BluetoothR Error 31

My bluetooth headphones are not working so I had a look at device manager and saw a yellow '!' next to IntelR wireless BluetoothR:I tried updating drivers:To no avail. I have also uninstalled it and shutdown my computer, but still the issue persists. I'm not sure what else to do, any help appreciated.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Do let us know the following to assist you better:

• How have you upgraded to Windows 10 (Previous operating system/ ISO file/ Pre-installed)?
• How have you installed the drivers on your device (From Device Manager/ Manufacturer's website)?

As the error code 31 says: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device, you will have to update the drivers.

If you have not installed from the manufacturer's website, search for the latest drivers and try to install them.

You can install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

  Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right click the driver installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• 
  Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.

  Try installing the driver and check.
