I hope you haven't given up on Acronis True Image 2018. It works fine on all the computers that I have it on. I use it to back up to 2TB, 5TB, 6TB, and 12TB external hard drives. Below is one of my desktops with ATI 2018 that is used to back up to an external Seagate Expansion Desktop 5TB SATA/USB drive.

Recover External USB drive

I ran MediaCreationTool1903.exe (Windows 10 installation media) and accidently selected a 5TB USB drive with name "MyBook" instead a USB flash drive.

Now the 5TB USB drive is no longer a 5TB drive but a 31.9GB drive with a name "ESD-USB".

Is there any way to restore that drive to a usable backup drive?
