Windows 10: Intermittent DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION after update from Windows 10 1809 to Windows 1903

Hi


I rarely post, so I'm hoping that some can assist with this problem.


Last year I updated to from Windows 10 1809 to Windows 10 1903. After the update the system hung at random and produced BSOD with DPC Watchdog error.


After many attempts at checking/updating device drives the system would still at randam just crash with BSOD. After spending hours on this I've rolled back to the original version Windows 1809 and the system works like a treat.


It's only when I'm "forced" to do another update to 1903 then I receive the BSOD again. I'm at my witts end and cannot seem to pinpopint why this is just randomly hanging after a period of time.

100% HDD usage followed by DPC Watchdog Violation

Yeah, Idk if Hitachi DFT can check your drive but you can give it a shot
