Windows 10: Intermittent Network Credentials Error

Hi.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have an intermittent problem with connecting to my NAS.

We have a small business with 4 desktops + 2 laptops and the NAS is a file server. The desktops are connected by ethernet cable. The laptops are wifi.

The desktops and laptops have mapped drives on the NAS. Sometimes they connect just fine. Sometimes I get asked to enter the Network Credentials. Even though I enter the correct password, I get this error message:

"An error occurred while reconnecting Y: to \\Block\Accounting
Microsoft Windows Network: Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server of shared resource and try again. This conneciton has not been restored."

Sometime, we shut down and reboot and can connect, and sometimes we cannot. I would like to know why this is happening and how to correct.

Some of our machines run Windows 10 Pro, and some are Windows 10 Home. I just did the latest updates on all systems.

If I do "Network Discovery" I can see all the drives on the NAS, but I open them. The system requests the network credentials password and then rejects it when entered.

To assist you better regarding your concern with network credentials, have you checked the Windows credentials for any information about the username and password for the network credentials? If not yet, follow the steps below to access Windows Credentials
manager.

• Press the Windows icon on the desktop.
• Type in Windows Credentials.

We would appreciate as well if you could provide us a screenshot.

• How many devices are affected?
• Are you getting any error messages when connecting to a network? If yes, send us a screenshot.
• What are the troubleshooting steps that you've performed to resolve your concern?

• 
  Press Window Key, and type Network and sharing
  
• 
  Click on Change Advanced sharing settings
  
• 
  Select all network
  
• 
  Under Home Group connections
  
• 
  Select Use user Account and Password to connect to other computer
  
• 
  If don’t want the password follow the steps below
  
• 
  Select all network
  
• 
  Under password protected Sharing
  
• 
  Turn off Password Protected Sharing
