Windows 10: Intermittent problem with dropping files to desktop

About 2 out of 10 times when I drop something to the desktop either from a zip file or from explorer or any other source if i drop the file to the center of the screen it does not "land" there, it moves down the whole 1st column from the top left of the screen and places the icon there. Auto-arrange is off and I've tried turning off snap to grid like many other options but it keeps happening... Not always but enough to bother me when I'm working with many windows and I need the file placed where i've dropped it with my cursor.. Problem persists after few updates...Sample video of problem

WiFi Drops Intermittently [Solved]

My WiFi was intermittently dropping. Tried nearly all the online suggestions without success,

including solutions relating to the WiFi driver and hardware, installed software. and turning off various settings in the Operating System. Finally, I reinstalled the Intel Chipset driver on the motherboard. This solved the WiFi problem. The laptop computer is a Dell Insprion 17 model 5770 running Window 10.

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

 

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?
