Windows 10: Internal microphone not working in third party apps.

Hello,My internal microphone realtek not working on my lenovo laptop in third party appsdiscord,steam, messenger. Only works on apps from microsoft store/built in apps like Recorder or Skype. My windows is up to date. Last time this happened i tried reinstalling audio drivers but it didnt work until i installed audio driver version from my laptop's support page. It doesnt work this time. I have tried everything there is and i dont think internet has a fix for this anymore. Please help, its urgent.

Internal microphone not working

Hello all, I got a new laptop (ASUS Zenbook). Everything was working for a few weeks and now the internal microphone stopped working when I turn on headphones (not headset - headphones without microphone).

I tried video chatting and I could hear sounds but I cannot speak. But without the headphones, I can speak.

• This is the same headphone and I could speak before.
• I am sure that the microphone is enabled, and set as the default microphone.
• All my windows updates are updated.
• I restarted twice.

I have windows 10 installed on it.

Audio Inputs and Outputs in the Device Manager. The steps on how to update the device driver on your device can be found on this

Constant Muting Internal Microphone
