  1. INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR BSOD Windows 10

Hi. I have a Lenovo X1 that is running into INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR bugcheck when user the laptop. This issue is intermittent but it's happening quite a few times for the past couple of months to be annoying, especially after a hibernation when all hibernation data is lost after boot up. I've tried to run the Windows Debugger and reference past post here, but nothing seems to help. I've also updated all the drivers from Lenovo website to the latest version and they don't help either.dump crash filehttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1S6is1XwcGOyF7jBGWBfCKhGWcwTmH4Hm/view?usp=sharingFor analysis

  2. Internal_Power_Error BSOD

I've tried several solutions posted in various discussions with this problem, and so far, have had no success.

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro x64, and every 10 minutes, even if the only thing that's running are background programs, I will get a BSOD for an Internal_Power_Error. I've tried updating the latest drivers for my GPU and network adapter,
I've tried increasing the size of the hibernation file, I've borrowed a friend's GE Force GTX 660 GPU to test if I still get the same error, and I've tried rebooting in safe mode, disabling the original GPU and network drivers as described here: Windows 10 - internal power error

None of these solutions have stopped my desktop from getting a BSOD every 10-20 minutes and the reason displayed each time is "Internal_Power_Error". I'm getting to the point where I just want to roll back to Windows 7, because I can't get any work done
    on my desktop right now.

PC is a custom build (not by me). 6GB RAM, AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor, AMD Radeon HD 5670 GPU.

    EDIT:

    Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H.

  3. INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR Windows 10 Restart Loop

    Hi Krishna,

INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR indicates that the power policy manager experienced a fatal error. Refer to the article for more information:

    Bug Check 0xA0: INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR

To troubleshoot the issue, follow these methods:

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Start your computer in safe mode and check if the issue persists:

Windows help & learning - Microsoft Support

    Step 2:

If it works fine in safe mode, perform clean boot to check if any third party application is causing the issue, as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, see the section “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot” to return the computer to a
    Normal startup mode.

    Method 2:

I would suggest you to use these commands to repair Windows:

    • Open an Administrator CMD window. If you can’t find a way, use these steps:
    • Press CTRL+Shift+ESC to open Task Manager.
    • Click File > Run New Task
    • Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
    • Type CMD
    • Type the following commands at the CMD prompt:

      dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

      sfc /scannnow

    Let us know the results.

    INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR BSOD Windows 10

BSOD - Internal_power_error Keeps coming up

    Hi guys

The BSOD - Internal_power_error keeps coming up (every few hours) after a few softwares were installed several days ago, and then the system restarts. The softwares include
    • AVG PC Tuneup 2016
    • Acronis True Image 2016
    • KMPLAYER, etc

Here's what I've done to try to put things right:
Learnt that the error is somehow related to GPU/Network adaptor drivers, so had these drivers uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck.
Also uninstalled AVG PC Tuneup, no luck.
Finally reinstalled Windows 10, no luck as well.*Sad

Attached herewith the debug file, kindly have a look and advise. Million thanks!
