    Hi I have a problem with my internet access, had this laptop for a couple of months now and it pops up all of a sudden, it has never happened before and I have a couple of assignments to hand up so pls help me if you have any suggestions. My problem persists in saying my internet access has been blocked, and that firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection. I know this is not my internet problem because it works fine on other devices besides my laptop.I already tried most of the methods I found online, disabling my windows firewall, allowing apps and so forth, restore defau

    Internet Access Blocked

    So I just noticed my plex media server is unaccessible from my TV, says server unavailable. I can view the server (which is running on my laptop) when I go to 127.0.0.1 but if I try and go to the full private ip address I get this message.
    I even tried turning Windows firewall completely off and I still get that message. I also get it when trying to log in to my router....
    I also get general failure when pinging any local IPs
    What is blocking me, if not windows firewall?

    Internet Access Blocked on Google Chrome

    Until recently, Google Chrome was working on my computer but of late it just says the following:

    Your Internet access is blocked

    Firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection

    Try:

    • Checking the connection
    • Checking firewall and antivirus configurations
    • Running Windows Network Diagnostics
    ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED

    I can only access the internet with Microsoft Edge. When I check firewall settings on McAfee, there are no internet restrictions for Google Chrome. Even Microsoft Teams refuses to open, saying "We couldn't connect to the internet. Try Checking you connection."
    Of course, nothing is wrong with my wifi.

    How do I address this issue?
