Windows 10: Internet based media playback issue after connecting 3rd monitor

Please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong sub, but Im having an odd problem and have no clue if it's windows, or the "computer".
I have an HP ZBook X2 (kind of beefy for a laptop). For a few years now I've had a Samsung 43" TV connected as a second monitor using the USB-Thunderbolt port. The first monitor is the Laptops screen. Never any lagging or anything. For workflow purposes I "needed" (im doing finger airquotes lol) a 3rd monitor. So I got another Samsung 43" TV and have it plugged into the laptops HDMI port. When turned on and TVs input for the laptop is selected, things become a bit laggy. The biggest issue is if there is any sort of web browser based animation. Whether it's an ad, a Youtube video, or a gif, my laptop goes down to just above a crawl. Streaming services and Youtube are absolutely out. This happens with Chrome (my preferred option), Firefox, and MS Edge. Does anyone have any clues why this may be happening and where I start troubleshooting?

> Just to clarify, your 3rd monitor doesn't work when you connect it?

> What ports are you connected with the 2nd and 3rd monitor?

> Have you checked if all ports are working properly? by removing each on if the 3rd monitor doesn't work?

> What is the exact model of your laptop?

3rd monitor doesn't connect

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

To better understand your query, kindly reply to the following questions.

1. Did you try setting up the cables again?

2. Did you try giving the recommended resolution and check if the monitor is detected?

I would suggest you to make sure that the monitors are connected to the correct video port.

However, you can go to the device manager and disable the monitor which is not working.

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand the Monitors.
• Right-click on the monitor and select Disable.
• After sometime, try re-enabling it and check if the device gets detected.

connect 3rd monitor

My HP pavillion will not detect a 3rd monitor I connected to the USB-C port. Is there a way to detect / connect the 3rd monitor ?
