    I am having problems with internet, I have tried 2 internet service providers and encountered the same problems.The first problem is that internet speed slows down and sometimes drop to 0 kbps when downloading files.Another problem is that internet speed drops when trying to play games.It is as if someone is blocking internet from being used, the problem is probably from the laptop, as 2 internet providers where tested.My laptop is newly bought, and running operating system is windows 10. How can I know what is causing this problem ?

    Are you using a wired or wireless connection?



    I would suggest you to follow these steps and try to run the Internet connections troubleshooter:

    • Press Windows key + X on the keyboard.
    • Click on Control panel.
    • Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Control panel
      search box.
    • Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all.
    • Click on Internet Connections troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.


    Let us know the results.

    I'd rather just set it and forget it as the feature list of RBE suggested it was capable of doing.

    I had already tried this and it did not work. I did find an updated driver for my adapter (Realtek) and so far no more problems. Thanks for the suggestion!
