Windows 10: Internet connection F12

When I turned on my HP Pavilion computer there was an alert from Windows Defender that stopped Dearmob from the 5K Video Player sending info out. Since then my F12 key does not respond has the amber light and I cannot access the internet. No available networks show to try to connect to. Airplane mode is available but cannot turn on or off. Other computers in the house can access the internet. Tried removing battery and holding down the power button. Uninstalled the driver for Realtec and restarted. Turned off the firewall and tried. Uninstalled the 5K player. Tried restoring to an earlier date. Wireless card shows that it is working correctly in Device Manager. Beginning to think my card pooped out.

HTC 7 Mozart mobile not connecting to internet

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
Lumia troubleshooting and repair. After each step, check to see if your issue has been fixed.

• For issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks, select Connectivity > My phone has problems connecting to Wi-Fi networks, then follow the suggested steps provided.

• And for issues connecting to the internet using a mobile data connection, select
