Windows 10: Internet connection lost after password change

I changed the microsoft password via my phone. On my computer there are 2 internet "connections". One is the standard and has always been the default. Netgear27. The other is Netgear 5-G. Now the standard won't work and says I have no internet connection. If I switch to Netgear 5-G I have internet. I didn't change anything else and I can't seem to find out how to update the microsoft password so the default will work again. Any thoughts?

Lost internet connection after upgrading to Windows 10.

after downloading windows 10, i had no internet wifi connections. tried almost everything from community.

I downloaded talent driver network software to an

external drive using another computer and then ran the set up on non internet computer. Wifi networks reappeared and I was able to get on the internet and download some apps but connects lost by the next day when turned on computer, Again unable to get
on internet and network adapters not listed. Talent driver software no longer effective.

tried INFO GROUND(/) STEP 1. NO CHANGED...no connections listed.

Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password


I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

• Launch Control Panel.
• Click "Network and Internet."
• Click "Network and Sharing Center."
• Click "Wi-Fi...."
• Click "Wireless Properties."
• Click the Security tab.
• Check "Show characters."
• Enter the password in "Network security key."

Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?

You should still be able to use NavyLCDR's second step without changing the WiFi password.
