Windows 10: Internet connection problem on new Dell PC

I got a new Dell Inspiron 3880 PC (Windows 10) on (Monday) June 21st on a 15-day return policy, and so far most everything is fine, except for one problem. Early on (Fri.) July 1st, my Internet connection went down for the first time, and when I use the troubleshooter, I get a message that says "Starting Network Diagnostics" in a window that says "Detecting problems", but it hangs endlessly at that, with nothing happening. It just keeps going on endlessly for several minutes with nothing happening, until I quit, & then try again, but the process just repeats. I eventually end up having to "reset network adapters", or something like that, which unfortunately requires my whole PC to be restarted. And then it happened again late on (Sat.) July 2nd! What can I do? Or what should I do? I would tremendously appreciate it if anyone tries to help, so PLEASE do! THANKS very much.

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?

HTC 7 Mozart mobile not connecting to internet

Hello,

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
Lumia troubleshooting and repair. After each step, check to see if your issue has been fixed.

• For issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks, select Connectivity > My phone has problems connecting to Wi-Fi networks, then follow the suggested steps provided.

• And for issues connecting to the internet using a mobile data connection, select
  Connectivity > I cannot connect to the internet using a mobile data connection. Make sure to select the next options given if the problem persists.

Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
