Windows 10: Internet connection problem

    Internet connection problem


    I'm having some internet connection problems. My father installed a new router a couple days ago and since then, my internet has been going on and off. I use an ethernet 3 cable, plugged right into my computer from a switch in my room. That worked until he installed some wires to other parts of the house. When I put the cable from my computer into the internet it'll give me like 250 mbps. Now it's like 95 mbps, which is what it was before, but this time it's plugged directly into the main switch. I've heard getting half the mbps is normal with the switch? Or maybe that just happens with a rout
