Windows 10: Internet Connection

So, I just factory reset my pc and got new internet but when i plug in my ethernet cable, i am able to use the internet but in the bottom right it shows the offline icon. I have tried numerous things to get it to work but none have worked. I have tried doing the network troubleshooter but it just suggests to reset all my network settings and doesn't fix the problem. I have also restarted my modem several times and still no change. It seems like my computer won't connect to microsoft servers or adobe servers since those are the only apps I can't use on my computer. I have tried changing my dns

  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.

HTC 7 Mozart mobile not connecting to internet

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
Lumia troubleshooting and repair. After each step, check to see if your issue has been fixed.

• For issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks, select Connectivity > My phone has problems connecting to Wi-Fi networks, then follow the suggested steps provided.
