    Internet Connectivity Problem


    Hi. I hope I'm posting my question in the correct place.

    I've had some internet connectivity problems, and this has happened with two different ISPs. I will suddenly lose my internet connection. I run diagnostics, and receive a message saying two problems were found: 1) A cable is loose or damaged, and couldn't be fixed. 2) My router has been reset.

    Every time, after I run the diagnostics, I am again connected to the internet. As an experiment, I asked my next door neighbor to tap into my WI-FI, to play a high-powered online game (which I've forgotten the name of). Yesterday, there were no problems. Today, I suddenly lost my internet connection -- but my neighbor experienced no prolem whatsoever.

    This makes me think the problem is with my laptop. Does anyone have ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Hi tom1989,

    Welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions!

    Let's try to isolate the issue. Did you change any of your settings or did something with the phone before this issue happened? Have you tried to reboot the phone? Press and hold the volume down & power keys until the phone vibrates. This will refresh the software
    of the phone.

    Please install latest version of network card driver from your laptop manufacturer website.
