    Internet cuts out on my windows 10 pc only around the same time every night.


    As stated, my windows 10 PC that is right around a year old, recently started freezing internet connection until I restart the computer, then everything is honky dory until the next night. The Net drop happens around 7 and 9 pm central US. The other devices remain connected to our internet and experience no such drop. This is a very recent development and it almost feels like a parental control I have not activated on my personal PC.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I suggest you run the Internet connections troubleshooter, and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click on Internet Connections.
    • Follow on screen instructions.
