Windows 10: Internet disconnects on 2 apps when I unplug laptop on windows 11 pro

So I have a brand new Surface laptop 5 running Windows 11 Pro. All software is up to date. Everything runs perfectly except when I unplug it, for some reason a few apps disconnect from the internet. Edge works fine etc but these apps lose internet connection. When I plug it back in again they get internet connection again. Monday they lost connection when on battery at 100%, yesterday they worked fine on battery at 100% all the way down to 22% when I plugged it in again, today again they wont work on battery at 100%.What is going on here?

Laptop stuck up at preparing to configure windows

• Check to ensure there is disk activity (look at the hard disk LED light to confirm. If there is, keep waiting. If setup goes beyond 2 to 3 hours, try the following steps.
• Power down the computer. Unplug it, then wait 20 seconds.
• If you are using a laptop, remove the battery if the option is available.
• Disconnect it from the Internet (unplug Ethernet and/or turn off Wi-Fi).
• Plug it again, ensure it remains disconnected from the Internet then start computer.
• See if it completes setup.
• If setup completes and you see the desktop with the ability to click Start and launch programs, proceed to reconnect to the Internet.

• See if it completes setup.
• If setup completes and you see the desktop with the ability to click Start and launch programs, proceed to reconnect to the Internet.
