Windows 10: Internet disconnects when watching videos or downloading content

For the past couple months I've noticed an issue specific to my desktop. At random, when I try to watch a video on youtube or discord, or try to download a file, the internet will simply stop working. The internet tab in my taskbar still says I'm connected, but any app says there is no connection, calls go down, videos buffer and transfers fail. After a little, the connection returns and I'm able to proceed as normal, but this sometimes occurs really frequently and it becomes a little annoying. I know this issue is specific to this device because neither my phone or my laptop experience the sa

• Which web browser are you using to watch online videos?
• Do you receive any error message?
• What is the make and model of the computer?

If you are using Internet Explorer to watch online videos, I suggest you to
follow the steps mentioned in the following link and check:Why won't videos play in Internet Explorer?

Note: The above mentioned article contains steps to reset IE. Resetting Internet Explorer's settings is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings in IE are lost and cannot

Load this checklist video in Edge: (I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier) Go through the list of suggestions here to try to repair YouTube for Chrome...

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.
