Windows 10: Internet Explorer 11 doesn't work anymore after 2004 update

I know, I know, the browser nobody uses, anymore. Except I have a niche usecase for it and it really hurts that it doesn't work anymore.Anybody who uses the SRS-software SuperMemo really is affected, as using Internet Explorer is often the best way to import websites for incrementally reading them.

Is that already a reported/acknowledged bug?

I experienced a similar bug with TheBrain 11, which is software which uses Windows Presentation Foundation. The program didn't open anymore and I had to reinstall it.I reported on this on their forums:https://forums.thebrain.com/post/wa...l-6839-10575252?pid=1311853236&highlight=2004Maybe it is related.

I can't however reinstall it. (or I don't know how, anyway)This tells me to check whether it's still active in "Features". It is. So what now?

Has Internet Explorer quietly been killed off, now? I'm so confused.

EDIT:
Before someone asks, I tried reporting this via Feedback hub, but after I wrote up the issue, I clicked sign-in before submitting it..... and it got stuck in "please wait, checking a few things". Well that's great, but can't wait for it to check all the things, since I have to return some video tapes

Internet Explorer 11 not working on Windows 10

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

Internet Explorer 11; Windows 10....Stopped Working

IE11; Windows 10. For the past 2 weeks when I open IE11 I get Internet Explorer has Stopped working POPUP message rendering IE 11 unusable.

I have followed suggested Fixes by "Resetting" IE11; Use Software Rendering...is NOT checked. I have tried to use "System Restore" and go back to a Restore Point prior to 2 weeks but, I get unable to restore to xx/xx/xxxx because the process cannot file iexplorer.exe.

I have tried several Restore Points...get this same result.

I cannot fine the Internet 11 Install Update to delete it as it is not in the list History\Installed Updates.

Surely there must be away to fix IE 11...I have run out of things to do...suggestions with steps will be appreciated.
