Windows 10: Internet greyed out

I opened my laptop this morning and realized my internet won't turn only Ethernet I checked device manager and my internet device Intel duel brand wireless AC 3168 is disabled and can't be turned on according to the device statues: Currently this hardware is not connected to the computer code 45

:)

 

Internet explorer homepage buttons greyed out.

I suggest you to follow the below methods, it will help you to reset Internet Explorer setting to default and fix the issues.

Method 1: Internet Troubleshoot

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

4. Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2:

You can try to reset Internet Explorer settings to default and check if this helps.

1. Press “Windows key + R” to get the run window.

2. Type “inetcpl.cpl” and click ok to get the “Internet Options” window.

3. Click the “Advanced” tab and click “reset”.

Try the following steps:

  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Internet Explorer connection"
  
•

Taskbar network icon missing ( greyed out)


Did as suggested but no change. Still greyed out but internet connection good.
