  1. Internet issues after update

Hi. I'm running Windows 10 Home 1909 on an older Toshiba laptop. This computer is only used for virtual school work and was last running and updated in May. I turned it on 2 days ago to make sure my son could login for school yesterday and everything was running smoothly. Yesterday morning however when I started it up Chrome crashed. I tried Firefox and Edge and they both crashed. The computer was connected to the wifi with no issues. There did appear to be an update installed overnight.

Here's everything I have tried. I disconnected from wifi and reconnected and tried network troubleshooting but there wasn't an issue detected. I switched networks and every other device in the house is connected and running with no issues. I connected via eithernet which showed up correctly but all browsers still crashed. I have rebooted several times. I have turned off Malwarebytes which is the only antivirus installed. I have restored the system to before the update that night and still the same issue. I tried restoring to the other point which was in May but got an error. I have run chkdskand System Maintenance. I have restarted with all antivirus off. I can't uninstall the browsers because I can't reinstall them without internet access. I've done a Clean Boot and that didn't work. I've run the DISM tool.

The one thing that has worked actually is SafeMode with network, that is how I am able to access and type this.

    Help!

    :)
