Windows 10: Internet keeps kicking me out of games

this has started since a yesterday, whenever i play any server based game or while im on discord, the internet will drop for a second and get me kicked out of whatever im playing. i genuinely cannot play the games i like to anymore because of this

Try the below methods and check if it helps with your issue.

Method 1:Internet Troubleshoot

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  

Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer
website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.

• 
  Select Network Adapter and expand the driver icon.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

Why do I keep getting kicked off apps, internet etc.

I keep getting kicked off apps and the internet. This has been happening for a while now.

 

I keep loosing internet when I play different games.

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue.

• Do you face Internet connectivity issue apart from Dark Souls and Division games?
• Do you get any error message?

I suggest you to install Dark Souls Division game in compatible mode and check if that helps.

Compatibility mode

Follow the steps below on how to install Game in compatibility mode:

1. Download the Game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the Gameand select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the Gameinstall and then check the functionality.

If the issue persists uninstall and reinstall game from manufacturer website. Also install all pending Windows updates.
