Windows 10: Internet not working- W10!?

What could be the problem? My internet is working on a Chromebook and Ipad but suddenly not on my Windows 10 pc. Nothing seems to be slow or frozen on the pc, just can't get onto the internet status says connected. I've disconnected and reconnected a bunch of times. Suddenly a page worked loaded fast, Youtube video too, .... now nothing again. Diagnostic didn't detect any problems. FYI: I hardly go on any sites on this pc, don't browse, basically just using YouTube and checking emails on here.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Internet Explorer has stopped working

• If you have made any changes to the operating system that might have resulted in causing this issue?
• If you were able to see any error code/ error message when Internet Explorer crashes?

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.
